Self Driving Cars will create new business models

At the time of writing, the Robot EV industry is growing en buzzing. In this short video you can see an overview of the developments so far: https://bit.ly/AutonomousEV2022

Suppose you own a self-driving car, you drive to a meeting somewhere in the country, and once arrived you give your car the notice to 'go and earn money'.

The car then becomes a taxi-service for you in that neighbourhood, earning money for you. You give your car a return time to pick you up from the meeting location. The car will not accept rides from third persons that will exceed that timeframe. Unless you give it permission for that one ride because it earns good money.

With the money you earn, you can buy/finance a second car that can earn money for you continuously, and you can build up a fleet of cars that can earn passive income for you.

In fact, that is just what Tesla intends to do; they will cease selling cars at a certain point in time and only lease them out. It is to be seen if you can exploit that. Will Tesla lease it to you so that you can rent it out? Will they use the Apple business model? Time will tell, but be on the look out for business opportunities.

Even more exciting are cars that are going to be produced like the German Sonomotors. (https://bit.ly/SionCar). These cars are going to be charged by the sun. By 2030 this technique will have been perfected so that you can run a fleet of cars that never has to recharge. They are not alone, the Dutch company Lightyear One is producing a sedan along the same principles. (https://bit.ly/LightYearOne).

So will you start saving up and make sure you can invest in this near-future technology?
