Is there a quicker way to investigate FOXO4-DRI?

Two ways to speed things up.

It doesn't let me go; it must be possible to find out sooner than 10 years if FOXO4-DRI is going to be a compound that gives us youth until 120 years! When I look at beloved old people around me, with all sort of ailment I feel that we as a society must be able to come up with something. I may be totally wrong in assuming this, but as a concerned citizen I feel the need to speak out.

Dr. Peter de Keizer, the discoverer of the effectiveness of FOXO4-DRI, rightly says that one should not experiment on oneself as there is no way of finding out yet what the possible side effects may be when applied to humans. One brave (or reckless) individual, Mr. Darren Moore, bought the stuff anyway and started using it on himself, reporting his findings online (Click here). We all hope he is doing all right at present. It is speculated that there are many other individuals trying it out.

But why not speed things up without taking drastic measures such as self experimentation at a relatively young age?

I propose we do 2 things:

1) Use it on our old pets (I have a cat that is 17 years old) and see and report back what the results are. Such a program can be run via the veterinary surgeons, who can administrate the drug and collect results (using an online website). We can ask the pet owners to report their findings online.

2) Use it on very old people (voluntarily) who are 95 years and older, as a first step. Do we see improvements without serious side effects, then we can lower the age in steps to 90 years, 85 years and so on. The drug should be covered by insurance as it will bring general health costs down. Of course, to set this program up will take longer than using it on pets, but I feel there is no time to waste!

This should get us faster and better results than the current procedures. We will soon know if it is the wonder drug or not at all, and what the doses should be. We could be saving people who are soon to die of old age and give them a longer life in good health. How much is that worth?
